What is URL


From Wikipedia , URL stands for Uniform Resouce Locator thats mean character sets that are used to indicate the address of a source such as documents or pictures on the internet.

Internet address is usually composed of http (protocol), a domain name: www.___.com . For example: http:// www.example.com . This address is unique, each showing a different web address. Visitors enter the web address by typing the address. 

The files in the web can also be given its own URL by adding the file name in the address domain.
